The social program for the Day Hospitals Australia National Conference provides excellent opportunities to network with colleagues and suppliers. Full Conference registration includes all social functions – the Conference Dinner, Welcome Lunch, Evening Reception and all networking opportunities.

Site Visits

The Day Hospitals Australia Conference provides a broad program of professional opportunities to delegates, including optional site visits to local hospitals (Sundew Day Surgery) on Wednesday before the Conference begins.

Site visits are a great opportunity for you to tour another facility, and take practical ideas back to your own workplaces. An additional cost applies for the site tours and capacity limits apply.

Welcome Lunch

Join us to kick start the Conference with a delicious lunch in the exhibition hall, before we begin presentations at 1:30pm on Wednesday 28 August.

Evening Reception

Our Evening Reception is a networking event for our delegates, exhibitors and presenters and provides the perfect opportunity to catch up with colleagues, meet with suppliers and build new business relationships in a relaxed environment. Light canapes and beverages will be served in the Exhibition Hall.

Conference Dinner

Enjoy a taste of Perth while catching up with friends and colleagues. The Conference Dinner includes canapes, dinner, drinks and entertainment, and the inaugural Day Hospitals Australia Awards Ceremony.

Fraser’s Kings Park is located in the tranquil surrounds of Kings Park and sits high above the city with views of Perth and the beautiful Swan River. Buses will transport guests to / from the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre to Fraser’s Kings Park.

Networking Opportunities

A comprehensive Trade Exhibition will run concurrently with the Conference, showcasing the latest products, services and equipment from a range of day hospital, medical, health care and associated suppliers.

The trade exhibition will run for the duration of the conference with all meals served in the exhibition area, along with the evening reception on Wednesday and tea, coffee and light refreshments on Thursday and Friday morning.

When: Wednesday 12:30pm – 7pm, Thursday 8am – 5pm, Friday 8am – 11:30am.

Day Hospitals Australia Member Dinner

Members of Day Hospitals Australia and their invited guests, are invited to attend an informal dinner at the Conference. Join us to network with peers, exchange insights, and foster meaningful connections within the day hospital community.
