Hear from 2025 National Conference Award winner, Brett Miller
Last year’s National Conference Award recipient, Brett Miller from Harley Day Surgery, will return to the 2026 Day Hospitals Australia Conference to share the innovative Dental Anxiety Management Program that earned national recognition in 2025.
Brett will discuss how the initiative was developed, the impact it has had on patient care and experience, and the practical lessons learned through implementation in a day hospital setting.

Selection Process
Submissions will be reviewed by the Awards Panel, featuring members of the Day Hospitals Australia Board of Directors and winners will be honoured at the Day Hospitals Australia National Conference on Wednesday 26 August 2026. (No speech is required unless you’d like to!)
Eligibility
Entries are open to all staff, Directors of Nursing, CEOs, owners, medical professionals, and representatives from Australian day hospitals. Self-nominations and nominations on behalf of colleagues are welcome.
