Who are Day Hospitals Australia?

Day Hospitals Australia is the peak body for the day hospital sector representing more than 220 day hospitals (and some small overnight facilities <100 beds) nationally.

We support and represent stand-alone day hospitals within the Australian health care environment by providing important information, facilitating communication between members, actively representing the sector on National and State committees, and advocating on behalf of members.

How much does it cost to attend the Conference?

Where is the Conference being held?

The Day Hospitals Australia 2025 National Conference will be held at the National Convention Centre in Canberra

When will the program be released?

The Conference Program will be available in May 2026

What is included in the cost of my registration?

A full conference registration provides you access to all of the plenary presentations, keynote speakers, breakout sessions, drinks and meals during all breaks and social and networking events including the Welcome lunch, Conference Dinner and evening cocktail reception.

Day and half day registrations provide you with access to all plenary presentations, keynote speakers and meals on the day of your registration. Social events can be purchased separately.

Can I register onsite?

Registrations will be accepted onsite. However, we do recommend registering prior to the Conference so that your name badge and delegate materials are waiting for you on arrival. Full payment will be required by credit card or cash for onsite registrations.

Do I need to wear my name badge every day?

Yes, you need to wear your name badge every day you are attending to access the sessions and exhibition hall. If you lose/forget your name badge, replacement name badges can be reprinted onsite.

Can a registration be shared with more than one person from the same organisation?

Registration at the Conference is per person, and shared passes are not permitted. If a delegate is no longer able to attend the Conference, you can change the name on the registration by emailing dha@conferenceprofessionals.com.au

What if I have special dietary requirements?

Please enter any dietary requirements you may have when registering online. If you have forgotten to do so, please email dha@conferenceprofessionals.com.au or phone 1300 973 180

What is the attire for the Conference?

The recommended attire is business or business casual.

Can I attend the conference for only one day?

Yes – for those unable to attend the whole conference, half-day and day registrations will be available to purchase once registrations open.

Will there be a virtual component to the Conference?

We value the importance of being able to network and hear presentations in person, and will not offer a virtual option if you are not able to travel to the Conference.

How do I find out about exhibiting at the Conference?

All sponsorship and trade opportunities for the Conference will be available early in 2026

What is the schedule for exhibitors?

Build / bump in – 9am – 12pm on Wednesday 26 August 2026

Pack up – after morning tea on Friday 289 August 2026 – approx. 11:30am

The exhibition area will be open to delegates:

12:30pm – 6pm Wednesday 26 August (including the Welcome Lunch and Evening Reception)
8:30am – 5pm Thursday 27 August
8:30am – 11:30am – Friday 28 August
