Invitation to Submit

A Poster competition will be held at the Day Hospitals Australia Conference to highlight research, innovations, achievements, new systems and ideas to improve services provided by day hospitals.

• Day Hospitals – Open to staff, Directors of Nursing, CEOs, owners and representatives. This is your chance to share your ideas and innovations with other day hospitals.
• Medical Professionals – Open to medical specialists including surgeons, anaesthetists and physicians. Share research and or advancement in patient care in the day hospital setting.

Competition Process

• Entries in the Poster Competition must be submitted online by Friday 16 August 2024
• All entries will be displayed on digital TV’s in the Exhibition area of the Day Hospitals Australia Conference
• The winners will be announced on Thursday 29 August and will be invited to deliver a short 10 minute presentation summarising their poster entry as part of the official Conference program on Friday 30 August (via Zoom if unable to attend the conference)
• ePosters will also be made available to be viewed in the online platform & conference app.
• The winning entries will also be included in the Day Hospitals Australia Weekly Bulletin following the conference.

Prizes

• Winners in each category will receive a Registration at the 2025 Day Hospitals Australia Conference and a $500 prepaid visa gift card

Selection Process

• Delegates will use the Conference app to vote for a winner in the Day Hospital category, and the Board of Day Hospitals Australia will vote for a winner in the medical professionals’ category.
