History

The inaugural Australian Day Hospital Association Conference, now known as the Day Hospitals Australia Conference, took place from 27–29 October 2005 at the Surfair Hotel in Marcoola Beach, Sunshine Coast. The event boasted 36 speakers, a sold-out trade exhibition, and a vibrant Hawaiian-themed beach BBQ.
