Scott Tulloch

Scott is an Australian and internationally trained orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in
surgery of the knee and hip. Scott received his medical degree from Monash University and completed specialist orthopaedic training with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2016.

Scott undertook a 12-month fellowship at the prestigious Fowler Kennedy Sport Medicine Clinic in Ontario, Canada specialising in sports knee surgery. During this time, he treated many elite athletes including Olympic skiers and developed advanced surgical skills, particularly in the management of ACL injuries. Scott also spent 3 months visiting centres of excellence in Europe and the USA to gain further experience in knee and hip arthroplasty including anterior minimally invasive THR and robotic surgery.

Scott has been instrumental in creating a short stay model of care for joint surgery, providing clinically appropriate patients with an opportunity to affordably access hip and knee replacement
surgery, and building a body of evidence to support a shorter hospital stay.

He has published multiple papers related to sports knee surgery and speaks regularly at local and
international meetings. Scott is passionate about teaching University of Melbourne students and
advanced orthopaedic trainees through his public appointment at Western Health.

Scott prides himself on open and honest communication and involves patients and their families in the decision-making process at every stage of their care. He utilises the latest technology and surgical techniques to provide the safest, most accurate and individualised treatment to promote
better outcomes for his patients.
