Scott is the Chief Operating Officer for Nexus Hospitals and has extensive experience in growing strong healthcare businesses. With a track record of achieving value for doctor shareholders, Scott is adept at developing healthy surgeon relationships and identifying opportunities for business improvement. During a broad healthcare career in profitable day hospitals and specialist group practices, Scott has worked with specialist surgeons to bring together top class teams and facilities and deliver outstanding patient care. Scott has achieved landmark negotiations with private health insurers and suppliers, and has supported a number of specialist surgeons and day hospital operators on strategy and business development. Prior to its merger with the Australian Society of Ophthalmologists, Scott was a Director of the Independent Ophthalmic Network. He remains involved in supporting and advocating for surgeons and day hospital operators alike. Scott is also the NSW Member Director on the Board of Directors of Day Hospitals Australia. |
