Natalie is the Director of Health Care Management and is responsible for managing BUPA’s $6b expenditure on healthcare services and the relationships with a comprehensive network of hospital, medical and ancillary providers. This includes contract management and negotiation and strategy as well as claims analytics and integrity functions.
Prior to joining Bupa, Natalie was with Medibank for the previous nine years, most recently as the Divisional General Manager of Provider Commercials & Operations. She was responsible for all interactions with healthcare providers and the substantial expenditure on healthcare services. Natalie also held General Manager Strategy and Analytics roles at Medibank.
Natalie started her career in the Mergers and Asset Sales branch of the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission and was also a Senior Equities Analyst (primarily covering healthcare stocks) at CommSec.
Natalie is passionate about exploring new models of care and funding in the healthcare system to improve affordability and improving the transparency of healthcare information for customers.
