Graduate in Health Science and Business Management with 7 years’ experience working as a Health professional in hospitals and over 15 years in executive management within local and Global Medical Devices distribution companies. Currently the Managing Director and co-owner of Optimed Technologies, an Australian independent Medical Devices company, which sources and distributes quality & innovative surgical devices across ANZ with development into overseas markets in progress. Michael is focused on improving human health and patient clinical outcome via championing the regular meeting of bright minds between research and development teams within leading manufacturers and Health care professionals. His focus is on developing innovative products made by surgeons for surgeons so as to improve clinical outcome and not create clinical needs purely based on business decisions.
