Dr James Bradley qualified from University of Queensland in 1973, obtaining his Fellowship in Anaesthesia in 1980, and training in Brisbane, Durban and Toronto. He was appointed as a full-time Specialist Anaesthetist to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in 1982, and has maintained his commitment to the PAH since, initially full-time, and then part-time as a Visiting Medical Officer. His association with “day surgery” anaesthesia goes back to the initial projects at the Princess Alexandra Hospital and the Wesley Hospital, and progressively over time, to a number of Day Hospitals in the Brisbane area. He is a past-President of the Australian Society of Anaesthetists, currently its Specialty Affairs Adviser, and he has a broad interest in the delivery of healthcare. |
